Shocker Software
All Shocker® marker users are strongly encouraged to utilize the latest version of the provided software. Shocker® AMP, XLS, and RSX should all utilize the latest software found on this website.
*Importat Update*
Shocker® AMPs should be updated to version 1.46 or newer. Older versions may prevent the user from switching between modes.
STEP: 1 - DOWNLOAD PROGRAMMER
Click to download the Shocker® programming software. This software is compatible with Windows PC ONLY, and will require a USB to Mini USB data cable for proper information transfer.
STEP: 2 - DOWNLOAD SOFTWARE UPDATE

Loader delay – increased default to 17 (this helps with Level and CTRL loaders)
FSDO – reduced default setting to 10 (this will help with initial shot strings/ getting into ramp faster off the break)
Dwell – reduced default to 15 (this helps with ramp speeds and allows for a higher loader delay setting)
Note – This software version uses “SP” branding rather than model-specific branding.

There are two versions of Shocker® software – common for both RSX and XLS models.
Each software provides a different driver for the onboard OLED screen. While the screens are identical in performance, appearance, and resolution, they will not operate properly without the correct software version loaded on the board. If you load one version of the software onto your board and the screen becomes dim, then you must utilize the alternate version of the software.

STEP: 3 - INSTALL PROGRAMING SOFTWARE
Compatible with Windows PCs only – locate and install the programming software downloaded in step 1.
STEP: 4 - LOAD BOARD SOFTWARE INTO PROGRAMING SOFTWARE
Within the Programming Software, press the “Browse” button and open the software version you plan to load onto your Shocker® marker. This is done in much the same way as you would open a saved document in any other software platform.
STEP: 5 - PREPARE MARKER FOR UPDATE
With all paint and air removed from the marker – open the left grip panel (with the barrel facing to the users left). Disconnect the 9 volt battery from the board connector, and locate the mini USB port in the lower right hand corner of the grip frame compartment. Plug the mini-usb connection into the port, and the USB connection into your computer.
*Trouble Shooting Note* Not all USB cables can transmit data, should your computer not recognize the connection between your marker and your PC, utilize a different cable.
STEP: 6 - LOAD THE SOFTWARE ONTO THE MARKER
Press the “Load” button within the programming software, the indicators within the software will notify you when the process is complete. This normally takes between 5-30 seconds depending up on the computer system.
STEP: 7 - WRAP UP
Disconnect the USB cable from your marker, and re-install a high quality 9 volt alkaline or lithium battery. Power on the marker and confirm the screen is operating at appropriate brightness. If the screen is dim, repeat the above steps with the alternate version of the provided software.
